At first glance, the photos seem harmless—just a few red patches, unusual circles, or irritated spots on the skin. But behind some skin changes can be a story that is much more complicated than it appears.
It may begin with something easy to dismiss: a faint rash on the wrist, a cluster of tiny bumps, or a circular mark that seems to appear out of nowhere. Many people immediately blame allergies, stress, soap, detergent, or the weather.
For one woman, however, the marks on her husband’s skin became impossible to ignore.
